Beach Wedding Invitations - Get your Guests
in the Mood to Travel!
Whether you are planning a warm and
tropical beach wedding or use the sea and
the beach as your wedding theme, we have
the perfect beach wedding
invitations to match your wedding
needs. The invitation can set the stage, or
the theme of your wedding and give your
guests a taste of what is to come.
Moreover, novelty invitations that
incorporate island or beach themes will
excite and encourage your guests to
overlook the travel expense and be at your
side on your special day.
No matter where your beach
wedding will take place, whether in
Florida, California, Hawaii, the
Caribbean Islands, or in a wedding
hall decorated in nautical style, you
certainly want to send out beach
wedding invitations that reflect this
theme.
We have cards to match your taste and
style. From whimsical beach wedding
invitations shaped as a pop-up
Adirondack chair, to invitations with
pictures of gorgeous beach landscapes,
cards with palm tree or starfish-design,
flip-flop and waves.
Furthermore, consider the
following ideas:
- A message in a bottle
idea using a weathered parchment
scroll
- White card decorated
with a single shell instead of a
logo
- Traditional invitations
tied in raffia or Hessian for an
earthy look
- Use a sunset photo as
the central theme and build your
invite around that
- Dried palm leaves
attached to the corner of white
card
- Consider adding a charm
or trinket as a keepsake to your
wedding invitation
Buying the invitations takes
time, but not nearly as much time as
getting them sent out! Do you know
the proper wedding invitation
etiquette? Yes, there is a proper way
to do your invitations. In this
article I have put together the most
important points for you. Follow them
and you will hear no word of critic
after your beach wedding is
over.
- Write out names in full,
including middle names. Omit a
middle name if necessary, rather
than using an
initial.
- It's appropriate to use
the British spelling for "honour"
and "favour", unless you prefer
to use the American spelling of
these words.
- Spell out all words,
including the hour, the date, and
the year. Spell out all words in
the address, including Street,
Road and Avenue. The two
exceptions to this rule in an
address are Saint (St.) and Mount
(Mt.)
- Use Roman numerals in
names, rather than "the third" or
"3rd."
- For ceremonies taking
place in a house of worship, use
"request the honour of your
presence." Ceremonies taking
place in a non-religious setting
should say, "request the pleasure
of your company
Invitations can often be an
afterthought during the planning
stages of a beach wedding. However
unique and original beach
wedding invitations will set
the stage, or the theme of your
wedding and give your guests a taste
of what is to come.
