Beach Wedding Bridesmaid Dresses

   

 

 

Deciding on your beach wedding bridesmaid dresses is seemingly just as hard as deciding on your beach wedding dress!  All the same questions apply, such as what material should they be made with and what length will they be.  Keeping with the knowledge that the dresses will be near sand and water, often beach brides opt for shorter bridesmaid dresses.  Flowing material such as schiffon or cotton allows for beautiful movement in the breeze which is often present.

 

Lighter colors that represent the outdoors and beach theme are often used in the bridesmaid dresses.  The whole point of most beach weddings is too keep things simple and classy so leave the darker, bolder colors for more traditional church weddings.  Light pinks, yellows, blues and beige colors work best.

 

Flat sandals or dressy flip flops are very popular for beach weddings and even if the bride is wearing heels the bridesmaids can keep it more casual.  Especially if they are wearing a shorter dress, flatter heeled shoes work best.
